Pale pink to dark heartwood, quickly darkening to reddish brown. Aboudikro, which mainly comes from the Ivory Coast, is generally darker than wood from other growing areas. Blocks with numerous bark galls, color defects or water cracks are not suitable for veneer production.

Burma Teak Veneer Quarter is renowned for its golden to medium brown color with a straight, smooth grain and a natural luster. It is easy to machine and finishes well, making it ideal for a variety of applications. Proper surface preparation ensures excellent gluing results.

White oak is universally applicable in all areas of the wood-using industry because it is very resistant to external influences. It is highly valued in the veneer and sawn timber sector due to its expressive structure. In the USA it is of great importance as barrel wood (whiskey). It is used as veneer and sawn timber in all areas of the furniture, door, and panel industry as well as the parquet and staircase industry.

Has a very conspicuous flecking that gives this wood its namesake. The wood itself is a reddish brown with grey or light brown rays, which result in a lace pattern when quartersawn. Like other woods that exhibit the strongest figure in quartersawn pieces, (such as Sycamore), Lacewood has the most pronounced figure and displays the largest flecks when perfectly quartersawn; this is due to the wood’s wide medullary rays, whose layout can be seen the clearest when looking at the end grain.
